Public Interest Alberta is sponsoring three election forums that are open to the public. The essential purpose of the forums is to focus directly on five issues that are central to the public interest:
- Health Care
- Post-Secondary Education
- Early Childhood Services
- Environment / Energy Policy
- The 'Democratic Deficit'
The forums will be held as follows:
Red Deer - Thursday January 5th (7:00 - 9:00PM)
Red Deer Public Library (Snell Auditorium)

Calgary - Tuesday January 10th (7:00 - 9:00PM)
EPCOR Centre (Engineered Air Theatre)
205 - 8th Street, SE
Edmonton - Thursday January 12th (7:00 - 9:00PM)
Royal Alberta Museum (Theatre)
12845 - 102 Avenue
The four main political parties (Liberals, Conservatives, New Democrats and Greens) have been invited to send one representative from the region in which the forum is being held.
Admission is free. Make plans to attend to hear what the parties have to say about these important public interest issues!
