This year five nominations were received for the Council election, one for each of the five available positions.In the fall, Council approved a bylaw change that when only one candidate runs for a position other than president, that candidate will be declared elected by acclamation.Therefore, an election is not required as each of the candidates who submitted a nomination for the 2010 election is elected by acclamation.
Congratulations to: Terry Wilson (Treasurer), Anna Malo (Secretary), Derek Chewka, Barbara McPherson and Kelly Stratford.These Council members will be formally declared elected at the ACSW AGM in Edmonton on March 18th.
