Alberta Caregivers Association Consultation and Conventions 2010
The Alberta Caregivers Association ACGA is conducting a survey of caregivers throughout Alberta to learn about the issues they face.
The survey can be found here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ABCaregivers2010 and will be kept open until the middle of September.
Following the survey, they will be holding two conventions in October (one in Edmonton on the 22nd and the second in Calgary on the 29th) at which caregivers, professionals, and service providers will come together to identify existing deficiencies and strengths (capacity assessment) and then suggest strategies that account for existing capacity and address the problem areas identified through the survey process.
You can participate in the survey as a caregiver, a professional/service provider, a group of caregivers, or a member of the general public.
There are three ways to take part in the survey:
- Click here to fill out the survey online.
- If you are not comfortable filling out the online survey, please call the ACGA toll-free at 1-877-453-5088 to make arrangements to complete the survey over the phone with the help of one of our staff or volunteers.
- If you have a group of 20 caregivers or more, the ACGA may consider facilitating a "town hall meeting" to gather your collective input. Please call or email us to discuss this possibility.
