The Fort McMurray Area Coordinator’s Committee and participating members would like to recognize all local RSW’s by acknowledging the dedication and hard work you do, especially in consideration of the uniqueness of working in a very diverse northern community.   

We would also like to thank those of you who were able to attend our social event last evening, including Gino Restivo from Keyano College, who shared progress on establishing a Diploma Social Work Program in Fort McMurray.  Jo-Anne Beggs, RSW with Addiction & Mental Health Services,  was the lucky winner of a personal wellness gift certificate, so congratulations Jo-Anne! 

In celebrating the person and the professional, take care of yourself while taking care of others.
