Member Interest Groups
ACSW has several member interest groups which provide support to social workers in their fields of practice. These groups undertake advocacy activities, host continuing competence events, arrange Social Work Week activities and provide networking opportunities. Groups meeting regularly are Social Action/Social Justice, Social Workers in Health, Children’s Issues and Gerontological Social Work. If you are interested in joining one of these groups or developing a group concerning another field of practice, please contact the Professional Affairs Coordinator at ACSW.
